  1. Thesis Statement:

Make a thesis statement about this document.

  1. Attribution:

Mere attribution is not sufficient. Attribution is the copying or rewriting the (main point/Importance) of the document.

  1. Point of view:

Point of view explains why this particular person might have a particular opinion OR what particular feature informs the author’s point of view.

  1. Reliability:

How reliable is this source?

  1. Intent; Purpose:

What is the purpose of this document, or what is the author’s intent?

  1. Audience:

Who is this document or object designed for?

  1. Tone:

Is the author serious, or sarcastic, is the author chiding or is the author recommending?

8. Missing Data:

If you could ask for one additional piece of documentation to help explain/define this one, what would it be?

  1. Evidence of Bias:

What, in the document, shows how the author was biased (predisposed or inclined to think or believe in a certain way, often times pro or anti an idea)

  1. Assessment of Validity:

Did it, or could it be successful?
